Dual Nature of Matter

The whole energy in this universe is in the form of matter and electromagnetic energy. Radiation behave as both as wave and particle. Radiation wave nature is describes by interference, diffraction, polarization etc .Radiation particle character is described by photoelectric effect, Compton effect etc. the nature loves symmetry. As the radiation got dual nature, matter should also posses dual nature.
Thus a wave is associated with energy moving particle. These waves are called de Broglie waves or matter waves. Electron has particle nature. But Davisson and Germer experiment proved the wave nature of electron also.

Some Tips , Tricks & Strategy for JEE Main & NEET 2020

Some Tips , Tricks & Strategy for JEE Main  & NEET 2020

It is important to follow the preparation tips of JEE Main & NEET 2020 to be able to ace the entrance exam.

Books & Syllabus – One has to be aware of the books and syllabus of JEE Main & NEET 2020 before the preparation starts. Please go through the syllabus and for all books give below.

Plan Everything – For Exam, “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail”. Nothing in the preparation procedure will start and progress if not planned. So, before starting the preparation, candidates need to plan how they will prepare. The plan has to be made keeping in mind all the practical possibilities of completing it, making castles in the air will certainly not help.

Make a proper time-table for yourself - this would divide your study and activities time.

Understand the concepts thoroughly . -JEE & NEET questions are not direct like that in school and need you to apply different concepts. Thus, having a proper understanding of the concepts is necessary.

Note of important formulas and theorem - Making a note of important formulas and theorem comes handy while solving numerical based questions in Mathematics and Physics. This also helps to quickly revise all important theorems and formulas.

Take Small Breaks – Whenever bored or tired of studying, take breaks. Mind works better if involved in different activities at different hours. Walk, play, dance, sing, meditate, go for a movie etc. Do anything that helps rejuvenate. Make sure that involvement in different activities is not tiresome and for a very long time because STUDYING is the priority at the moment.

Revision – Whenever done with a topic, revise it. This forms as an important part of preparation. As the syllabus is vast, there is a possibility that learning new topics might erase off the previous ones. Keep revising while learning.

Test yourself – Evaluation is equally important as preparation. Take up previous years question papers in this app and solve them at regular breaks. We recommend first trying the Unsolved Papers first and then If you are struck somewhere see the video solutions .

Stay optimistic - Lastly, Always try to keep a positive approach not only towards your studies, but also rest of the activities. This will keep your mind stress free, ultimately boosting confidence. Include fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet instead of munching on fizzy drinks and junk foods. Do some mild exercises regularly like a morning walk, a little bit of stretching, etc. to keep yourself healthy and active.

PHYSICS

Golden Tip for Physics Section

Make short notes as you go through each of the topics. This is a good reference tactic during the last days of the exam as it allows you to check the topic without opening the text book and going in detail.

                                     CHEMISTRY

Golden Tip for Chemistry Section

JEE Mains Chemistry is more about memorizing concepts. The syllabus of the Chemistry is not as vast as JEE Mains Physics, but candidates must not undermine this section. The Basics of Chemistry are chemical elements. If you want to make the most out of JEE Mains Chemistry section, you need to memorize the Periodic table.

To memorize names, atomic numbers, symbols, atomic weights of all elements in the Periodic table, you can make some Mnemonic, short slogan or catch-phrases. To memorize the Name equations & important formulas, make a flash card or cheat sheet. There is no shortcut to learning chemical equations & formulas. So, it is better to practice these again & again.

                        MATHEMATICS

Golden Tip for Mathematics Section-

Never start with a difficult problem. If you can’t solve few initial problems, it will make you anxious & hence it will affect your overall performance in JEE Mains paper. Start preparing for mathematics from the scratch. Solve the easier mathematical problems first & then progress towards the difficult ones.

Resistance, Reactance and Impedance

What is the difference between resistance, reactance and impedance for an ac circuit?

Ans..
1. Resistance -Ohmic resistance offered by a conductor connected in the ac circuit. It is due to the nature of material of the conductor.
Resistance is independent of the frequency of the source of current.
2. Reactance- Resistance offered by inductor or capacitor connected in the circuit.
It arises due to the fact that the alternating emf and current differ in phase by 90 degree, when ac passes through inductor or a capacitor.
Reactance is dependent on the frequency of the source of current.
3. Impedance- Resistance offered by the LR  circuit or CR circuit or LCR circuit.
Impedance is dependent on the frequency of the source of current.
